Welcome to SkipBoxes. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Description
SkipBoxes provides reusable moving bin rentals with delivery and pickup service in the Seattle and Everett, Washington area. We deliver clean, reusable bins to your location and pick them up when your rental period ends.
2. Rental Period
All packages include a standard two-week (14-day) rental period beginning on the date of delivery. If you need more time, you may request a rental extension at the per-week rate listed for your package. Extensions are billed in one-week increments.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed on our website and are subject to change without prior notice. Payment is required at the time of booking and is processed securely through Stripe. By submitting an order, you agree to pay the total amount for your selected package. Extension payments are collected via Stripe Payment Links sent to you by SMS or email.
4. Delivery and Pickup
We will deliver bins to the address you provide during checkout and pick them up at the end of your rental period (or approved extension). You are responsible for:
- Ensuring the delivery and pickup location is accessible
- Being available or designating a safe location for delivery and pickup
- Keeping bins at the delivery address unless otherwise arranged with us
We will communicate delivery and pickup scheduling via SMS and/or email. If bins are not accessible for pickup at the scheduled time, additional charges may apply at the weekly extension rate.
5. Customer Responsibilities
During the rental period, you are responsible for the care of the bins in your possession. This includes:
- Using bins for their intended purpose (packing and moving household or office items)
- Not modifying, painting, or permanently altering the bins
- Storing bins in a reasonably protected location (not exposed to extreme weather or hazards)
6. Damage and Loss
You are responsible for bins that are lost, stolen, or damaged beyond normal wear and tear while in your possession. If bins are not returned or are returned with significant damage, you will be charged a replacement fee up to the replacement cost of the affected bins. We will notify you of any damage assessment and charges after pickup.
7. Late Returns
If bins are not available for pickup at the end of your rental period and no extension has been arranged, you will be charged at the applicable weekly extension rate for each additional week or partial week until the bins are returned.
8. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation and Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review that policy for details on cancellation windows and refund eligibility.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SkipBoxes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the rental in question.
We are not responsible for damage to your belongings during your move. Our service is limited to the delivery, rental, and pickup of bins.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SkipBoxes, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the bins or violation of these terms.
11. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Washington.
